Descripción
Esta otra variedad de cuarzo se caracteriza porque sobre el cristal principal se produce el crecimiento de una segunda generación de cristales sobre las caras del primero apuntando en todas direcciones, pero por lo general dejan libre el extremo del primero. En este caso de las fotos lo hacen sobre una amatista, pero pueden hacerlo sobre otras variedades de cuarzo.
